Se-la-vie in a nutshell

Our history

Development of the Se-la-vie project first began in 2003
We piloted at University College London Hospital in 2004
Our '1st generation' solution achieved 70% success rates
We offered our 'second generation' solution to companies
as a staff support programme under the Re-so-lute brand
In 2008 we released the 'third generation' of our solution
for private individuals who would like extra support
We're now offering it on the Internet for the first time
so you can use it from the comfort of your own home

Our values

We chose the name Se-la-vie mainly as an expression of vivacity, and also to recognise the
ambivilance of making progress: "It was the best of times, it was the the worst of times"
*
We're a 'discussion' brand — we like to connect and empathise
"Vive la difference" - we thrive on diversity
Se-la-vie symbolises vivacity!
"The best of times" — life is fantastic
"The worst of times" — life is sometimes challenging
Simplicity and effectiveness - don't sweat the small stuff!
Rediscover Vitality! - it's rewards are beauty and fitness
"La vie continue" - life goes on, things pass, we learn from them
Compassion — an online solution that's low tech, and high touch
These nine 'value mosaics' are the driving culture of our organisation.
* This was the opening line of Charles Dickens' novel "A Tale of Two Cities"
